Finally I Found It!

>.<

Recently I'd been looking for a new home.
And finally... i found it yesterday.. :)
Those which i had looked before was not as good as the last one i saw.
This very last one was different.....

I think i found it because of my law of attraction too.
Yesterday, around 3pm, my sharemate Som was starving, so we went out for a dine near the school. When we were finished the meal, she actually headed home, but I made her accompanied me for a walk in the afternoon. Also, I said to her, I might find the new home now. I walked and looked around the Guanshengyuan Rd. It's a nice street. Far from noisy i say (except for the east -i guess it's the east- rear of the road where a traditional market is located). Then, turn south along the Liuzhou Rd. We didn't see any property agent there until the T junction of the Liuzhou and (i guess) Qinzhou Rd. We saw three agent but ended up went to the third one i saw even IDK why i randomly walked into this one.

edited after 3 months... lol
this last agency showed me some houses, but not even an apartment catch my eyes...
finally the agent showed a small but nice homy apartment... i fell in love in the first sight.. and it became the home i stayed now. :)

Movieeeeeeeeee 2

The one that read the past post must read this and vice versa...

So............. it was not me that went to the wrong studio....
it's the girl.. she sold the wrong ticket.....
yes, she gave me the HP6... i was just realize it after I saw the ticket this morning... >.>

lucky me i haven't see HP6..
hahaha...

*dice*

Movieeeeeeeeee

I woke up late (again) today... >.<
but i don't put it in a rush coz i have nothing to do anyway....
well... except for going to the movie... and it's all up to me coz i'm watching it all by myself..

I decided to watch The Transformer @ Kodak Cinema World, Metro City, Xujiahui. I bought the ticket for the very back and highest row, seat number 17 for 45rmb... It's tuesday and no disc? T.T
it said the movie aired @ 14:50...
it was 13:55 when i purchased the ticket.. so I wondering around the metro City..
and found 1 of my fave book... the Geronimo Stilton... and they have the volume that i don't have... butttt..... the price is ridiculously expensive for me... in Indonesia, I could get it for less than 50,000 rupiahs.... and it's 66rmb in the popular bookstore.... robber... >.< (1rmb = 1530rupiahs).. ok... it's another story... let's go back to the movie..

I bought a whopper, coke, and french fries.... then I headed to the cinema...
There was a girl checking the ticket and told me to go to the room number 2. In front of the room, there was no one.... not like in Indonesia or states which at least tere is someone that checking the ticket. So, I saw the electronic screen thingy said it was room #2.. and I went in.... My seat was pretty good... it's like in the middle left of the theatre when we face the screen. So, I enjoying my french fries and cola there.... Right until.... the movie was aired abt 5 minutes...... and................. I JUST REALIZE I'M IN THE WRONG STUDIO!!! AND I'M WATCHING HARRY POTTER INSTEAD OF THE TRANSFORMERS!!!! Gah!! Bloody Hell........ For the 1st minute, I thought it was the ad.... >.*even my heart did beat really faaaaaaaaaast; and i might have a pale looking face*

So, for the 1st 40 minutes.... I watched this movie with a concern... Of course I'm afraid someone might come and claimed his/her chair.... I was pretty freaked out when someone came to the very up section of the studio.... Lucky me... (and I think I'm so lucky) :D No one claimed it... I hope no one notice.... hahaha...

Phew.... It was an experience.... >.<

My total expenses for this wacko experience today is... 78.1 rmb
(movie ticket 45rmb, burger+cola+fries 23.5rmb, bus-roundtrip 4rmb, and gum.. 5.6rmb)

ps: I'll go on Thurs and try the cinema in Huahai.. I'll watch The Transformer... and no more wrong studio....... *i hope*

Fun Weekend

I spent a lot of money~

05/01 - Labor Day

It's a nice day... Sunny, but windy.... I got a sunburn that day. It's not even summer yet! Why I got the sunburn? It's because...

I went to a place somewhere close to Minhang, or maybe it's Minhang, which lot's of movie made there. Yup! It's a movie set. It was a set for KungFu Hustle, "Kabut Cinta" (Idon't knw the english title and i don't knw the chinese character), n so on. It was nice. I mean, It's OK. The entrance fee is 50RMB, but if you have the student card, you'll only pay /2 of it (sadly the cashier lady said my student card is not valid.. weird.. >.>). I took some photos there, w/ friends who taking me there. We were 8. It's me frm SNU, 1 frm Phillipines (Yuyun's roommate when she was in XiaMen),and other 6 girls including Yuyun. They are from SISU. >>special thx to Yuyun that ask me out that day. it was very nice. =) If i didn't go, then prob'ly i'll end up sleep for the whole day. hehe..

Frm my uni, i have to take the bus and go to the nearest metro station, the Shanghai NanChan and heading to XinZhuang. After, we took the bus to the place and it took 45 minutes. It was crazy when we are trying to get to the place. It was too many ppl on the bus. Even when it's full already, the driver & co- still get some more people to get in. It's just terrible. My Philipinas friend told us that it was smell bad. Yea.... gues that! The BO! LOL

It was nicer when we get back. Not so crowded, and we got some seats. But 1 thing.... we actually coul get off at BeiQiao St. (line 5), and take a bus to the spot, and vice versa. I just realize that, and our Chinese fellow disn't know about that. Well, at least now we are know. XDD

After the something call Le Yuan (the shooting setting place), we went to HuangPi Metro St. and have an early dinner @ Sizler something2.. i can't recall it. It's a nice western restaurant. The foods are cheap, especially when it's good, and the fact that it is located in a very expensive area. Then, we went to Barbie Shanghai on HuaHai. Again, picture, picture, and pictures!

It was great. Beside the sunburn, i got a sore legs also. But, it was a good trip. So, it was worthed.

Ok, let's make it short... i'm tired n sleepy now... lol

05/02

It was not going as I planned, but things turns out pretty good. I had a plan to go for hopping near the school, but instead, I went to Shanghai Tech for shopping w/ Ntine, Helena, Merry, n Herlina. Long day, but it was great. So, after a very loooong day. I got the same exact bags as Herlina. it was just the differect colors. So, we got an Agnes Bi bag, the big 1, for 45. And I got another bag for 125. They said it's new collection and I bought it on the expensive area. Don't know if I was overpriced. But i think it's OK. If I got overpriced, it can't be more than 10rmb anyway.

After, we went to Coco Curry @ Xujiahui's Metro City. It's delicious. How about a franchise in Indonesia? Hm... pretty good. I just need a capital then. :D
We went back and reach the dorm around 8.
And, i di my laundry.. :D

05/03
What id I do today?
Lol. I was planning to go to the church, but I got off @ 9:15. So I just skipped it and prepare myself to go to PuHuiTang. I took the bus 43, get off at the Indoor Stadium, then ride a taxi to the place. The driver said it's really close (but I don't know where, and Michael said it was kinda far.. so I took the taxi), and I said I don't know which building and I was in hurry, so I don't want to waste my time walking. LOL.. yea... 11 RMB.. huehehe...

So, I got this nice BBQ lunch party invitation from Cisca Wikelling (hope i spell it right). Apparently her guests are all Chinese. Yea!! It's a nice opportunity for me. In fact that her guests can't speak English (some are them are learning, but can't speak really well. but i'm impressed that they are willing to learn it!). We are boiled corn, w/ butter... BBQ pork ribs (i don't care about the Pig/Pork Flu... the meat is not contagious if we cooked it properly... and we are not gonna get the flu bcoz we eat it... We gonna get that flu if we are weak and we get around the animal... So, ppl... pls stop worrying about things! Life is to worthed to be wasted on that kind of thing.. but, if many worried, then I got no competitor of eating those meat and it will cost cheaper... :D thx ppl! lol), then.... KERUPUK! + GADO2... It tasted better that the 1 in Bali Bistro! In fact, Cisca's Gado2 is really nice!!! Did I mentioned that Cisca's mom is an Indonesian and her dad is a Suriname's? It was fantastic! I know her from a Rotary Club (bcoz once I attended a Rotary Shanghai meeting), and I think I should thank Rotary for making my life more colorful. Then, the ultimate dessert is bread pudding. Cisca put walnut, cranberries, and raisins inside the bread pudding. Then, it came w/sweet nice butter sauce. It's delicious! Cisca is a chef. Her cook is beyond excelent. It was just amazing. One thing I forgot to do is drinking the wine. It was the Merlot (Australian). It's a good one.. >.<

There, I met Tom, Cisca's husband. He is doing things in CSR (as a consultants for American co.). Wow! It's like my law of attraction doing something. So funny, because the co. I worked now is a co. that do a CSR for another co.. I believe that we could collaborate someday.

I was staying there until 5. Before I left, I got a nice home tour. Tom showed me the home. I think it's really a home sweet home. It got a nice view, nice room, nice bathrooms (3 bathrooms? or 4? i forgot), nice kitchen, nice balcony on the top of the building... It got everything. Their home is on the top of the apartment! 29th floor. :D i bet it's the best room in that building. ^^ Cisca told me that the kitchen is not as nice as I said. It's because she's a chef (professional 1), and back at her CA home, she got the real kitchen. One thing I can't forgot... I was fascinated at her knife sets. :D

After, I headed toward HuangPi T St. I went to Barbie's. Jacob told us (Rotaractors) to meet in front of the Isetan, thengo to Shum's for a meeting. I was wrooooong. I should get off at Nanjing Xi Lu St., Line 2. It was because of the stupid map. It was wrong. Well, maybe it was because the Isetan was there, then now it's relocated. Lol. Yea, another experience. Another 11RMB.

Shum's was really nice. It got a fancy bathroom, he shower is nice, but it's kinda small i think. And the price is really nice, lol.. 6000RMB (very expensive). But, yes, it's nice. Then we talked about fund raising and community service things. Also, we talked about Club Service and membership. The Rotaract life will be good here. :D Surely, we'll have a great ride within 2 or 3 weeks. I will just rent a bicycle. It's gonna be cool to ride to Pudong. We'll cross the bridge. Can't wait to do that.

A meeting w/out foods is boring. So, we ordered pizza. 15" and 12". I ate 2 pcs 15" and 1pc of 12". I was fed up (after nice party at Cisca's, I got another 1). What else do we got? Beer, Pocky, Coke, n i don't know what it called. hahaha... It was 6 of u, until Lana (Jacob's girl) came and we become 7. We left Shum's @ 9:40ish. The others went to the MRT 1st. Enrico n me wait for Shum to get her money. She had no more cash and she needed to pay Enrico for the dinner. After, Enrico n me ride the T. We talked a lot. And we just love to talk. Until we missed the station (ppl Sq.) which we shld interchange to the line 1 (frm the line 2). Thx God it's only 1 st. Then at ppl sq., we took the wrong T. It went to the opposite direction. Thx God again, it's only 1 stop (again). Enrico said he was following me. I was following him as well. It was just hillarious.

I got off at the Sh. indoor St., coz I just kept talkin w Enrico. From movies to work. Remind me to looked for someone (Chinese) who speaks English well, who could be a translator, and also s.o who could do a hospitality job. Then, I took the 43 bus. Surprisingly, when I was just about to got off, I met Dorina! With Miwa, and a Turkish guy (sorry i forgot our name).. We walked back to dorm together. We took the way beside the school. Apparently the gate locked already. The guy was told us to jump. And he did, so we could see how we shld do. Dorina went second, Miwa, then I'm the last 1. Nice 1 though. I will never forget abt it. Next time it got locked again, I'd just jump over it. LOL.

And, i got to rest now. Tommorow gonna be a long day.
Work hard, play hard.

*recharging*

Blessing in Disguise

Another blessing in disguise situation was happened to me.
Yesterday, I went to HuaQiao Foundation (Asionics Building, 6 Lane 1279, Zhong Shan Xi Road Shanghai 200051, China). I went there by taking the 224 bus and get down in the West Terminal (or something sounds like that) then walk for about 5 minutes. I was using the metro/bus card to pay, but then I didn't put it back to my wallet as I always do. So, yea, I lost it. It might be slipped out when i managed to stuffed it into my jeans pocket, or my ba, or even my wallet/bag when I was walking... or I forgot where I put it, somewhere in Asionic building. I was so upset when I found out that the card is missing. It's worthed 133RMB (113 credit balance and 20 for the card deposit). I hope someone in Asionics found it and return it to me soon. *I told some ppl there abt it*

In HuaQiao, I met some students from JiangNan University. We, sponsored by Frank and I think Tom too, were going to Shanghai Botanical Garden. Wang Wen, my English student and my Chinese teacher (haha... we teach each other), who is the one who taking charge of everyone is buying us the 1-way metro card. On the way, we met up with the other students from Fudan, Jiaodong, and either SISU or SUFE. All of the are Chinese, except me (Ina) and LeeJaeSung (Kr). Surprisely, the ticket entrance for the garden was free also. I think Frank was funded the whole trip. Another freebies... we got free lunch. JiangNan's stdnt backpacks and bags were filled by cherry tomatoes, oranges, cheese, peanut butter, fruit jam, biscuits, bread, chocolates, candies, chips, etc... it just so many. We were fed up.

After lunch and chat (and playing cards), most of the students take the park car and went to the peony garden. We, the rest, about 11 people were walking because some of us (incld. me) were lucky enough to collect a free plant from the garden. Our tiket were ended with 2, 5, or 8 (mine was 8). After several minutes of walking and detrour, we finally reached the peony garden. Surprisingly Frank was there. He called me several times until I realized that I've been called (lol). he gave me a bottle of pineapple-orange juice. I felt it very refreshing after the walk. After taking some pictures, Frank left and we got a short brief meeting in the garden.

Finally we have to say goodbye to each other. I went back to HuaQiao with the fellow friends I came with earlier. After resting for about 15 minutes in Asionics, we went out for dinner. It was a pleasant dinner. The dishes were very delicious. Ten of us really satisfied. Wang really picked the right menu. Another happy ending was applied here. Again, the dinner is free!

Then the time is up. It was 8:30, and everyone worried whether I still could catch up the bus or not. The answer is yes, coz the bus number 224 and 909 still operates until 23:--. I reached the dorm at 9pm.

Conclusively, life is unredictably beautiful. Even something I don't like happened, there is always something that makes me smile, laugh, and enjoy my life. Filled my life with gratitude is definitely helped me to enhance myself.

Gratitude

Since I've not been doing this for days.. i'll just write it here... (fyi, i usually write it down,,, 5 points each days)

1. Putuoshan Trip
I could mark another place in my travelling map.. :D

2. Rotary meeting
I met so many wonderful people here. I can't wait to share many things with them. And... it kinda remind me of my RC YEP sponsor back in 03/04, in States. With 70 members, the fine dining, the seats arrangements... it's not the same, but...yea... it reminds me.

3. Shanghai Buses
so far i'm good at it. The something wubi .org shanghai buses information is so useful. So, today i get to know nother bus route. Surely I will master the other pretty sure.

4. Interact meeting in HongQiao Foundation
Again, it reminds me of my exchange year in States. There were 3 interactors and a supervisor from the shanghai international american school (i forgot the school name, but yes it is an american school). Also attending the meeting: the SH RC President, Frank (Community Service and Youth Committe?), Rtn. Cathy, another Rotarian, and a HongQiao employee. So, my homework now is get this Interact Club some contact to another Interact Club around the world. Anyone could help me... please do.. i'm more than happy to be helped. :D

5. Beijing KaoYa Dinner
I dunno what the restaurant called, but it's located in Xu Jia Hui. I went there with those who attend the Interact meeting, except for the president, and we have another guests.... Rtn. Nicola and Rtn. Joerg. It was a very pleasnt dining. Frank was very generous. I believe someone there said Frank loves to feed people after I asked how many dishes he ordered... and it is true that he love to fed us! It was.. let me count... 10? 11? 12? well... actually i don't know. it was just so many. i remembered the beijing kaoya, xiaomi, the vegetable dish w/ peanut, salad, pork cutlet, fish dishes, another fish, the vegetable roll, fried roll, dumpling, another dumpling, something w/ chicken or duck and mushroom?, the beef (dunno what it called), zuchini, another vegetable dish, an duck soup... and not to forget to mention the ultimate dish... the fried scorpion. Frank took picture of me with the scorpion. I'll post it later once I got the picture right inside my inbox. =)
